NATIONAL FERAL CAT DAY
Feral cats are domestic cats who live outdoors without having been socialized to people. Many live in colonies, and community programs often use trap-neuter-return (TNR) to keep them healthy and stop colonies from growing.
The internet cats in this alley are here to celebrate cats broadly. Six are pet cats and three are wild species. None of them are feral cats.
Alley Cat Project is a volunteer-run Seattle nonprofit helping feral, stray and abandoned cats through trap-neuter-return, fostering and adoption.
Cat Meme Alley is an independent community project. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by Alley Cat Project, Know Your Meme, or the cats’ owners. Donations go directly to the charity through its own website.
